Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of premium services and digital goods (“Services”) offered by Softorage operating under the brand Softorage. By making a purchase through this Razorpay checkout, you agree to the following terms.

1. Nature of Services We offer digital services to support our open-source ecosystem, including but not limited to “Open Source Supporter Badges” and “Priority Support” for software issues and feature requests.

2. Fulfillment & Delivery Policy (Digital Goods & Services) Since our offerings are entirely digital, no physical shipping is involved.

  • Supporter Badges: Your chosen name or GitHub username will be placed on the respective project’s README and SUPPORTERS.md files within 3 to 5 business days of successful payment confirmation.
  • Priority Support: Upon purchase, we will acknowledge your GitHub issue or feature request within 24 to 48 business hours. The timeline for the actual resolution or feature implementation depends on the technical complexity of the task. We commit to prioritizing your task in our development queue.

3. Scope of Priority Support Purchasing Priority Support guarantees that your issue/request is placed at the top of our development queue. However, the maintainer retains the final right to determine the architectural direction of the open-source project. If a requested feature fundamentally conflicts with the project’s vision or is technologically unfeasible, we reserve the right to reject the request. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

5. Community Bonus & Advertising Free Tiers The “Community Bonus” (e.g., making the Softorage ecosystem ad-free if aggregate purchases reach a certain threshold) is a goodwill promotional offer. The $500 threshold is an aggregate target, subject to change at our sole discretion, and does not constitute a legally binding service-level agreement for individual purchasers.

6. Privacy Policy We respect your privacy. Email addresses and phone numbers collected during checkout are strictly used for payment gateway compliance, invoicing, and communicating regarding your purchase (e.g., clarifying a Priority Support request). We do not sell your data or use it for marketing campaigns.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these transactions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your City, e.g., Pune, Maharashtra].
