- AME Wizard is the engine used to run community Playbooks such as AtlasOS, ReviOS, Privacy+, and AME 10, which apply the actual Windows modifications. Also branded as AME Beta by its developer, Ameliorated.
- Only the core of AME Wizard is open source. Rest of the tool is proprietary code.
- We found references stating that Playbook verification is granted via paid supporter tier, though this could not be confirmed from official website.
- In our testing, SHA256 checksum for downloads from website ( https://web.archive.org/web/20260813160013/https://download.amelabs.net/AME%20Beta.zip - 97defaf3721a2a932ccdf8bc73f40b7afd06b217dcbef9261ecbc067ee755d4f) and from GitHub Releases (v0.8.4 at the time - a637f32b64e1493b315db9139065105656c84518dca20ce3b18c89750ee40c82) did not match.
