Because G-Helper replaces heavier ASUS software, the developer strongly recommends the following for the best performance:
- Uninstall Armoury Crate: It is highly recommended not to run G-Helper alongside Armoury Crate services, as both programs will compete to control the same hardware settings. You can completely remove it using the official Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool.
- Uninstall ASUS Smart Display Control: This app can conflict with G-Helper’s ability to smoothly manage your screen’s refresh rates.
- Disable MyASUS Services (Optional): If you do not plan on using the MyASUS app, you can easily stop unnecessary background services by navigating to the Extra section within G-Helper and clicking Stop under the Asus Services section.
