TeamViewer is a proprietary software application for remote control, desktop sharing, online meetings, web conferencing and file transfer between computers. It allows remote access to computers or mobile devices and use them as though user were there. It allows to remotely connect to servers, commercial-grade machines, and IoT devices through TeamViewer’s global remote access network. TeamViewer includes encryption based on 2048-bit RSA private/public key exchange and AES (256-bit) session encryption, two-factor authentication, enforced password reset on unusual activity and a listing feature for trusted devices (Whitelisting).
